July 21 - 27 Sestola (MO)
July 23-29 is the week dedicated to detail care, especially on shooting technique!
The program Master Fundamentals
One training session each day will be devoted to shooting technique, analyzing analytical movement and developing global movement.
Technical progress in the fundamental of shooting will be checked daily through target, timed, and percentage competitions.
Day campers will thus be able to give themselves goals to achieve or surpass day after day by putting into practice what they have learned during training.
Each day there will be a training session devoted to technique applied to the game (dribbling, passing, fundamentals without the ball, etc.), that is, the use of fundamentals in real, concrete situations, to help campers improve their knowledge of technique and when/how to use it.
The athletes’ technical/tactical progress will also be checked each day within specific training that will focus on game situations from 1vs1 to 5vs5.
Our trainers will conduct a twice-daily training portion to help campers in improving their coordination and physical/athletic skills.
Participants in the week will be videotaped during practice, and in-depth technical meetings will be held between individual athletes and coaches through video analysis of the footage.
A personalized video report will also be given to each person at the end of the week, with practical tips for individual improvement.
A week recommended for those born between 2013 and 2005, focused on individual improvement through a training program where attention to detail is the focus.
In addition, each athlete will be provided with the following customized feedback and corrections during each training session and at the end of the week via the “United Video Report“, a customized video file containing footage of the athletes’ execution of fundamentals, which together with the paper file “United Report” will offer children a detailed analysis of their fundamentals and practical, targeted advice on what and how to improve.
Sestola (MO) homecoming
Since its first edition in summer 2020, United Camp has found its home in Sestola, a town of 2,500 in the province of Modena, at the foot of Mount Cimone and in the middle of theTuscan-Emilian Apennines.
The resort, known in winter for its ski area, guarantees camp participants a quiet and safe environment amidst the mountains and under the watchful eye of its Castle.
Again this year, we could not give up this location, and after the maritime week, we will return to the coolness of the Apennines starting July 14.
Sports hall "PalaBarlera"
Sestola’s Palazzetto dello Sport is the facility where United Camp’s boys hold their daily training sessions.
The facility is anexcellence in the area: in fact, it offers two regulation parquet courts, with 4 baskets in total, allowing the Technical Staff to divide the boys so that each one has the right space and attention.
The PalaBarlera, within easy walking distance of the hotel, is for the exclusive use of United Camp from morning to evening, so evening activities related to basketball and beyond can also be organized. During United Camp, while respecting athletes’ rest and recovery, there is no stopping!
In addition, a few meters away is a nice lighted playground that has an additional 4 baskets, which can be used to organize both daytime and evening activities.
